Blizzard

The rigid frame active wheelchair Blizzard was designed for active persons who move around in the wheelchair independently. Its construction is very compact, and therefore it is also agile and very maneuverable in small rooms. It can also be easily stowed by one person without requiring excessive strength, thanks to its very low weight.  Therefore the user can transfer into and out of the vehicle independently.

Individually adjustable

A large selection of options and equipment makes optimal adaptation to the user possible. The Blizzard is simple to adjust. You can change the position of the centre of gravity and the steering wheel trailing in just a few easy steps. The frame is custom-manufactured in order to match the individual user’s needs exactly. Various anterior frame angles and contours are available to ensure optimal leg support. The position of the drive wheels can be easily modified using a small-increment ratchet. The back rest provides the active user with various angle settings, forming an ergonomic unit consisting of the seat and back rest. Depending on individual requirements, the wheel camber can be set in 3° increments between 0° for daily use and 9° for sports.

The Blizzard is extremely easy to operate and is therefore perfect for active driving. It provides the user with the greatest possible amount of everyday freedom and helps him or her to optimally use and train his or her capabilities.
