The knee orthosis that works to your advantage.

For the best rehabilitation, a knee orthosis should provide an individualized fit. That’s why we have further improved the Otto Bock Advantage to become Advantage II. It’s a comfortable orthosis prescribed for complex ligament ruptures (ACL), MCL or LCL injuries or post-operative conditions. Its construction incorporates essential functions into the design and various new features set new standards.
Conventional joint stabilization with limited range of motion in the knee. For pre- and post-surgical care. After knee joint capsular injuries, a rehabilitative knee orthosis can be used to stabilize the joint in all directions and offer a variable limited range of knee motion. The concept of the Advantage Knee Orthoses has proven to be very efficient in post-operative treatment after complex knee injuries. They are also used as a functional orthosis for conservative, non-operative treatment.
The anatomically-shaped open frame can be easily adjusted to the individual’s contours, especially in the thigh and lower leg sections. Special TechnoGel® pads and wide straps provide secure, comfortable suspension. In addition, the new Advantage II Knee Orthosis offers the possibility to adjust the pad position medially and laterally without influencing the orthotic joints. Width and inclination of the pad retainers are easily adjustable to meet the patient’s individual requirements.
After complex ruptures of the ligament, ACL, MCL, LCL or capsular ligament OP, in cases of knee instability. Additional strap allows modification for PCL ruptures.
