Spider is a mobility base for indoor use. The height and seat angle can be adjusted while carrying a child in the seating system by means of a gas compression spring.
The seat height adjustment is infi¬nitely variable, and the seat can be lowered to ground level. At minimum seat height, the distance to the ground is only approx. 20 cm, which is very useful when playing with other children at the same height in kindergarten, for example.
The seat angle adjustment allows both an active sitting position with the seat tilted forwards at an angle of 10º or a reclining position with the seat tilted backwards at an angle of 35º. For changing the seat angle, a foot pedal is used.

A Functional Solution for Indoor Use

During height adjustment, the special lifting arm ensures that the previously adjusted seat angle is retained and does not require any correction.
Lifting is conveniently assisted by a powerful combination of gas and spring pressure, whereby the ball-headed operating lever, which can be attached on the right or left side, ensures a good grip at any height.
A range of different seat mounting systems (interface adapters) allow most common seating systems to be easily and quickly mounted.
Handling is also made easier with a detachable pushbar, which is avail¬able as an accessory
