Training outcome advanced training:
“Functional Electrical Stimulation treatment of Drop Foot”

In this seminar the participants will learn how to use drop foot stimulation as an additional possibility to support their patients in everyday life. Principles of electrophysiology and gait analysis are set into pratice directly and are the base of a successful multichannel stimulation during the gait cycle.

You will learn and improve your skills regarding:

  • Pathophysiology and incidence of drop foot
  • Current possibilities of orthotic fitting
  • Indication electrical surface stimulation
  • Electrophysiological principles
  • Gait cycle basics
  • One channel stimulation
  • Multi channel stimulation within the gait cycle
  • Observation of gait and evaluation
  • Evidence for drop foot stimulation
