Lars is a child car seat we designed especially for optimal transportation of disabled children. The optional turn-and-push sub frame makes it possible to bring the child seat far into the door opening of the vehicle. Therefore your customers can easily and comfortably put the child into the seat and take it out. In addition, fastening seat belts and special accessories is made much easier and the amount of strength required is reduced to a minimum.
Lars is offered in two sizes; for children from two to six years (seat depth 21 to 23 centimeters) and for children from four to ten years (seat depth 27 to 40 centimeters). The basic equipment includes seat depth and width adjustment, back height adjustment, and the tilting bracket used to continuously tilt the seat up to 25°; thus the car seat offers multiple individual adjustment options. Easy handling is supported by the automatically engaging quick-lock system as well as the shoulder and lap belt guide for the original vehicle seat belt, the use of which is mandatory.
The adapter used to install the seat in the car is available as a rigid standard sub frame or as a turn-and-push sub frame which turns either left or right. Lars can also be supplemented with a removable footrest (available November 2006). The covers can be easily removed and washed.
