The Wrist Orthosis 28P40 is used for conservative, pre and post-operative treatment which requires functional support or immobilization of the wrist, for example carpal tunnel syndrome and chronic polyarthritis. The anatomically shaped orthosis stabilizes the joint and offers variable movement limitation of the wrist. At the same time, the thumb and finger joints are immobilized.
The orthosis has a continuously adjustable medial joint made of light metal, which permits limited movement between 0° and 35° of flexion and extension. In addition, static immobilization is possible.
The wrist orthosis distinguishes itself through easy handling and a high level of wearer comfort. While the pliable thermoplastic material ensures optimum fit, the lightweight orthosis does not restrict the mobility of your customer any more than necessary.
Indication
All conservative, pre and post-operative treatments that require functional support or immobilization of the wrist, for example carpal tunnel syndrome and chronic polyarthritis.
