The Rhizo Forsa Thumb Orthosis 50A4 effectively stabilizes the metacarpo-phalangeal joint and thumb saddle joint, for example in cases of collateral ligament injuries of the metacarpo-phalangeal joint. The orthosis is very stable due to the interior plastic core which can be individually cold-shaped if required.

The Rhizo Forsa is manufactured without seams and is exceptionally comfortable for users.  The comfortable material and lightweight design mean it can be worn over longer periods of time without any problems. It uses a slim design that only covers the area required for stabilization. As a result, it is more comfortable than similar products and not as hot for the user. It incorporates an attractive design and the appealing, discreet color that users appreciate.

The practical hook-and-loop closures make the Rhizo Forsa much easier for your patient to don and doff. If required, you can simply reposition the pull loop, which is attached to the orthosis with a hook-and-loop strap, to modify it for your patient.

Indication

• Collateral ligament injuries of the metacarpo-phalangeal joint (for example skier’s thumb)
• Distortions
• Irritation and wear in the area of the saddle joint and the metacarpo-phalangeal joint (for example rhisarthrosis)
