When extraordinary stability and extensive immobilization of the hand in a functional position are required in case of wrist irritation or injury, carpal tunnel syndrome, or paralysis of nerves in the hand, then our Wrist Orthosis Manu Forsa Volar 50P12 provides needed stability in both the palmar / dorsal and the radial / ulna planes.

Y-Shaped Metal Splint for High Level of Stability
A flexible plastic reinforcing insert and an anatomically pre-shaped metal Y-splint stabilize and support the wrist. Small clasps on the end of the Y-splint enclose the medial and lateral edge of the palm so that the movement of the hand is significantly restricted in both planes. For comfortable, anatomical positioning, the palm rests on a heart-shaped pad which is attached with hook-and-loop tape.

Your customer can quickly and easily put the orthosis on with their sound hand, as well as easily adjust it with the hook and loop straps.

The soft velour material ensures comfort, while the minimal design helps reduce overheating.

Like the epicondylitis orthosis Epi Forsa Plus 50A3 and the thumb orthosis Rhizo Forsa 50A4, the Manu Forsa Volar also combines a high level of functionality with an attractive design – for greater comfort and better patient compliance. The discreet gray tones are inconspicuous and also dirt-resistant.

Indication
- Acute and chronic irritations in the wrist (such as carpal tunnel syndrome)
- Post-traumatic and post-operative conditions, which require a high degree of immobilization of the wrist
- Partial paralysis
