The Acro Assist Arm Abduction Orthosis 50A1 enables shoulder positioning through arm abduction, and simultaneously relieves strain on the shoulder joint. You can set the desired abduction angle to 30°, 60°, or 90° quickly and easily with the abduction wedge and its hook-and-loop tape. The special frame construction not only stabilizes the Acro Assist, but also makes it especially lightweight and pleasant to wear with a weight of only 650g in size Medium. The updated design also increases customer acceptance.

Easy Handling

The arm abduction orthosis is exceptionally easy to use. You can individually adjust the length of the straps by removing the closure, cutting the strap to the desired length, and reattaching the closure. If required – to fit female patients, for example – you can cut the shaped body section along the embossed cut lines. In case of obese patients, the additional straps included with the brace can be added for additional customization.

We equipped the Acro Assist with hook-and-loop closures on the ends of the straps for easy everyday handling. Combined with the pull loops on the waist and shoulder straps, this makes it much easier for your patient to put the abduction orthosis on and take it off. The practical grips on the hook-and-loop closures make opening and closing them easier.

Indication

  • Post-operative and post-traumatic conditions of the shoulder and arm region that require abduction positioning of the arm, including conditions following rotator cuff plastic surgery, reduction of anterior luxations, or subcapital humerus fractures
