Whether you are on your way in town or on uneven ground, climbing stairs or going uphill or downhill – you no longer have to concentrate as much on walking and can pay more attention to your surroundings.
Our torsion adapters make everyday challenges easier for you at home and on the job. In particular, you will feel safer and freer in small rooms with limited space to move. For example, you can easily turn in all directions to reach drawers or cupboards when you are preparing the evening meal in the kitchen.
The rotating movement also has a positive impact during leisure activities. You can once again follow through during tennis or golf, and the torsion adapter makes you more mobile if you are looking after young children.
Take a close look at the gait pattern of pedestrians – you will probably notice that the upper body turns alternately to the left and right slightly with each step. This rotating movement is carried out mainly in the hip joint. Your hip rotation is restricted by the shaft, among other things. The torsion adapter can compensate for the lack of rotation. Therefore you are more mobile and your gait becomes more harmonic. At the same time, your stump is relieved; pressure and abrasion points on the stump are significantly reduced.
